Max runs the technology platform team at a world renowned quant investment firm. Prior to his current role, Max was CISO at quant pioneer D.E. Shaw. Before entering finance Max spent 15 years in various roles in the tech and security industry, helping companies build secure products and services, and bringing new products to the market.
Tom Killalea

Tom has an extensive career in technology and cybersecurity. From 1998 to 2014, he served in various leadership roles at Amazon.com, Inc., most recently as its Vice President of Technology for the Kindle Content Ecosystem from 2008 to 2014. Previously, he served as its Vice President of Infrastructure and Distributed Systems from 2003 to 2008 and prior to that as Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Security.

He currently serves on the board of directors of Akamai Technologies, Inc., Capital One Financial Corp., and Carbon Black, Inc. Previously, he served on the board of directors of Xoom Corporation from March 2015 until its acquisition by PayPal Inc. in November 2015.

Gerardo Richarte is the CTO, CISO and co-founder of Satellogic. Long time ago, Gera co-founded Core Security Technologies and some years later Disarmista, companies dedicated to specialized security products and services. He's also presented and taught courses at many Security Conferences and wrote articles to help spread the knowledge on offensive security, exploit writing and reverse engineering.

He's today at Satellogic, working to deploy 300 satellites by 2025 to remap the surface of the Earth every day, coordinating the security and other technological aspects of the company to build planetary-scale insights for improving life on Earth (rather than preparing to fly away to another planet).
Nico Waisman

Nicolas Waisman is currently the Head of Security and Privacy at Lyft. In this role, Nico leads the Information security program responsible for the company's cyber security efforts to secure and protect personal and customers information.

Nico has more than 20 years in the security industry, previously held security leadership roles at GitHub, Semmle, Cyxtera, and Immunity. Nico is a recognized security expert and has taught governments and commer- cial sector students from all over the world in both private and public classroom settings, presenting some of his research at conferences such as Black Hat, Pacsec, Syscan, Ekoparty, and many others.

Joe Weinman is a frequent global keynoter, digital strategist, and experienced telecom and IT executive. He is the Cloud Economics editor for IEEE Cloud Computing magazine, and his business and technical articles have appeared there as well as in the print or online editions of The New York Times, Business Week, Entrepreneur, Forbes and Wired, among others.

A longtime industry executive, Joe has held leadership positions in areas such as corporate strategy, innovation management, business development, product management, operations, sales, and R&D, most recently as Senior Vice President, Cloud Services and Strategy at Telx (now Digital Realty) and formerly at AT&T Bell Labs, AT&T corporate, and HP.

He has been awarded 27 patents in areas such as cloud and distributed computing, wireline and cellular telecommunications, media and gaming, homomorphic encryption, search algorithms, and consumer products.
